General Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: “GTC”) apply to the use of the www.lumiblu.com online store operated by Lumiblu Kft. (registered office: 1031 Budapest, Keve utca 45/C, Hungary; company registration number: 01-09-418857; tax number: 32336924-2-41; e-mail: info@lumiblu.com; registry court: Company Registry Court of the Budapest-Capital Regional Court (Fővárosi Törvényszék Cégbírósága); hosting provider: Shopify International Limited (Ireland, company registration number: 560279), The Sidings, 4th Floor, Grand Canal Quay, Dublin D02 E7K8, Ireland, contact: https://help.shopify.com).

Purchasing in the online store constitutes a valid contract between the buyer and Lumiblu Kft. upon acceptance of these GTC.

2. Definitions

  • Buyer: a natural or legal person who purchases a product in the online store.

  • Consumer: a person who purchases for purposes outside their trade, business or profession.

  • Product: the food supplements distributed by Lumiblu Kft.


3. Conclusion of the contract

The contract is concluded when the order placed by the buyer is confirmed. Orders are placed electronically and involve an obligation to pay.


3/A. Technical steps of concluding the contract

The steps of ordering: adding the product to the cart; opening the checkout; entering your contact, delivery and billing details; choosing the delivery and payment method; reviewing the order; and finally submitting the order with the button indicating the obligation to pay. Input errors can be corrected at any time on the checkout page before the order is submitted. Receipt of the order is confirmed by an automatic e-mail.

The language of the contract is Hungarian. The contract is concluded electronically, does not qualify as a written contract and is not filed by Lumiblu Kft.; the order details are included in the confirmation e-mail. The contract is governed by these GTC and the order confirmation. Lumiblu Kft. has not subscribed to any code of conduct.


4. Product information

The characteristics and prices of the products are set out in the descriptions shown in the online store. Images are for illustration only; the service provider accepts no liability for any differences. Lumiblu Kft. reserves the right to change its product range.


5. Prices and payment methods

Product prices are in Hungarian forints (HUF) and include VAT. For delivery addresses outside Hungary, prices and delivery fees are shown in euros.

Available payment methods:

  • card payment (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express)

  • Google Pay

  • Apple Pay

  • Shop Pay

Depending on the buyer’s country, further local payment methods may also be offered at checkout (for example Bancontact, iDEAL, Bizum, MobilePay, UnionPay).


5/A. Subscription

On the product page, a monthly subscription can be chosen instead of a one-time purchase. With a subscription:

  • The buyer pays for the first order at checkout as usual, at full price.

  • After that, every month, in line with the date of the first order, we send a payment link for the next order by e-mail. The card is not charged automatically: the order is placed when the buyer reviews the order details via the link and approves the payment. If the buyer does not pay, no order is placed and nothing is shipped.

  • From the second order onwards, every subscription order gets a 15% discount on the product price. The payment link shows the total amount payable, including the delivery fee, before payment.

  • The subscription can be cancelled or paused at any time, free of charge and without giving reasons, in the customer account under subscriptions; the frequency of orders, the date of the next order and the delivery and billing addresses can also be changed there. Cancellation can also be requested by e-mail: info@lumiblu.com.

  • Like all other orders, every monthly order is covered by the right of withdrawal under section 7 and the warranty rights under section 8.


6. Delivery terms

Delivery is carried out by Lumiblu’s contracted logistics partners.

  • Delivery time: 1-3 working days within Hungary; longer abroad, depending on the destination country

  • Delivery fee: the current fees are listed in the Delivery & Payment Policy; the exact fee is shown at checkout when you choose the delivery method

  • Available delivery methods: in Hungary Foxpost, DPD and GLS, to a parcel point or to your home; abroad Packeta, DHL and local courier partners.


7. Right of withdrawal

Under Government Decree 45/2014. (II. 26.), consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason.

  • The withdrawal period is 14 calendar days from receipt of the product.

  • Withdrawal can be notified in writing, by e-mail (info@lumiblu.com) or by post (1031 Budapest, Keve utca 45/C, Hungary); the model withdrawal form may also be used for this.

  • The cost of returning the product is borne by the buyer.

  • We will refund the full amount paid by the consumer, including the delivery fee, at the latest within 14 days of being notified of the withdrawal, using the payment method used for the purchase; we are not required to refund the additional cost of a delivery method chosen by the consumer other than the least expensive standard delivery method. We may withhold the refund until we have received the product back or until the consumer has supplied evidence of having sent it back, whichever is earlier.

Important: under Section 29 (1) e) of Government Decree 45/2014. (II. 26.), the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed after delivery. An opened food supplement therefore cannot be returned under the right of withdrawal. Independently of this, our voluntary commitment is the Money-back Guarantee, whose conditions are set out on a separate page.

8. Warranty and guarantee

Consumers are entitled to the statutory warranty rights (kellékszavatosság) and product liability rights (termékszavatosság) under the Hungarian Civil Code and the applicable legislation. Lumiblu Kft. offers a voluntary money-back commitment for its products under the conditions described on the Money-back Guarantee page. Beyond this, it does not undertake any voluntary guarantee unless the product page states otherwise.


9. Limitation of liability

The products are food supplements and do not qualify as medicines.
They are not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent any disease. The information on the website does not replace medical advice. The service provider accepts no liability for damage resulting from improper use of the products.


10. Data protection

Lumiblu Kft. processes personal data in accordance with the GDPR and its own data protection notice.

11. Complaints

Consumers may also submit their complaint to the consumer protection authority of the government office competent for their place of residence. We will respond to written complaints on the merits within 30 days of receipt.


12. Termination and amendment of the contract

The service provider reserves the right to amend these GTC unilaterally. Amendments take effect upon publication in the online store; orders already placed are governed by the GTC in force at the time of ordering.


13. Governing law

These GTC and the legal relationship between the parties are governed by Hungarian law. Matters not regulated here are governed in particular by the Hungarian Civil Code and the legislation on electronic commerce.
